KHAIRPUR: Two cops and one dacoit were killed while four cops got injured in an encounter at Katchha area of Indus River near Khairpur on Friday.
According to details, the police of Baberloi, Pirayloi, Fazi Muhammad Bindo received information about criminals so they raided village Kharos of Faiz Muhammad Bindo police station of Katchha area of taluka Pir Jo Goth district Khairpur.
This resulted in a clash between the criminals and the police, resultantly two cops Mubarak Ali Narejo and Muhammad Younus Kanhar got died on the spot while four cops including SHO Nadir Ali Bhatti, Ali Gohar Bullo, Atta Muhammad Bhutto, Mukhtiar Sial got hurt.
However, notorious criminal Bilawal alias Billo Narejo was killed. He was wanted in many heinous crimes to Sindh police and the government had announced five lac rupees as his head money. The police claimed that the body of killed criminal was taken away by his associates, while the dead body of the cops and injured cops were brought to civil hospital for legal formalities and treatment.
