GHALANAI – The authorities on Monday imposed curfew in parts of Mohmand Agency to carry out search operation, four days after militants martyred nine security men in the tribal region bordering Afghanistan.
According to the TV channel, the officials said that the curfew has been enforced in Haleemzai, Safi and Baizai tehsils, as security forces closed all roads leading to Mohmand Agency, and kicked off a search operation.
The authorities also closed down schools and government offices in the district. Locals faced severe hardship due to curfew. On Thursday, the Taliban gunmen killed nine Khasadar force men in two separate attacks in Pandyali area and Michni area of the same region.
