LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has gone to Canada for ten days and will be back in London on the 21st of this month.
According to press release, this was stated by a spokesman of the PAT while commenting on different rumours circulating in the media. The spokesman said that PAT was unaware of the London visit of different leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He said that the party was in constant touch with Sheikh Rashid.
He said that the rumours of a London Plan were baseless and also that PAT rejected the PTI invitation were just mere propaganda. He said that the PAT supports the demand for investigations against the prime minister in the Panama Leaks and that all opposition parties support the PAT’s demand for Qasas in the Model Town killings case.
The spokesman stated that the PAT chief has gone abroad to highlight the Model Town case on international forms and that the PAT will never budge an inch from its demand for Qasas in the Model Town case.
He said that the announcement for the second round of the Qasas Movement would be announced at an appropriate time as at the moment the case is in its final stage in Anti-Terrorism Court.
He said that just as the PAT has the right to make its own decisions in the same way the PTI has its own right to make its own decisions as to where and when to start and end a movement.
