KARACHI: Police on Wednesday rounded up at least six suspects including a gangster.
The police conducted a raid in Lyari and apprehended Shahzad, an activist of Uzair Baloch gang. The police claimed to have recovered weapons and drugs from his possession. Meanwhile, the police conducted a raid in FB Area and arrested two suspects after an exchange of fire.
The police also claimed to have recovered weapons, bullets and three cell phones from them. Similarly, the police arrested three security guards of a private company for exhibiting weapons at public places in Karachi South. The detainees’ identity was not disclosed.
