DERA GHAZI KHAN – At least 13 people including women and children fainted due to consuming toxic lassi(milk) here on Saturday.
Rescue sources said that 13 members of family including women and children hailing from Sameena locality of Dera Ghazi Khan drank milk which turned toxic due to unknown reasons resultantly they all fainted.
The affectees were shifted to hospital for treatment where according to hospital sources condition of some affectees was serious. Samples of the toxic milk have been collected and sent for laboratory test to know the reasons behind contamination.
